How to Deliver Tasks to Slack

You can send the results of a task directly to a Slack channel using the App for Slack integration. Follow these simple steps to get set up and start sharing updates automatically.

Step 1: Connect the App for Slack

Before delivering any tasks to Slack, make sure the App for Slack is connected:

1. Go to the Configure page in your workspace.
2. Under Integrations, confirm that the App for Slack connection is active.
   • If it’s not connected, follow the prompts to add it to your Slack workspace.

Step 2: Create or Edit a Task

1. Navigate to Tasks from the top navigation bar.
2. Either:
   • Edit an existing task, or
   • Create a new task.

Step 3: Set Slack as the Output Destination

1. In the task setup screen, locate the Output section.
