This guide will walk you through the process of integrating ClickUp with any existing AI Agents to streamline your workflow and manage tasks effectively.

ClickUp integration allows you to create and manage tasks directly from the Maybe* chat. This integration is particularly useful for teams who want to automate task creation and ensure that all relevant information is captured and organised within ClickUp. By following the steps below, you can set up and use ClickUp within your AI chat to enhance your productivity.

Begin by accessing your AI agents within the Maybe* platform and navigate to the agent you wish to configure with ClickUp.
Click the edit icon on the agent card and then wait for the AI Agent to prompt you to initiate a scan for plugins. This step is necessary to detect available integrations, including ClickUp.
Type and send the word scan.
If the scan does not detect ClickUp, type and send ‘execute a rescan without fail’ to ensure the integration is recognised.
Once ClickUp is detected, ask the Agent to update the instructions to include what you want it to do e.g. creating a new ClickUp task and assigning it to a user. Note that the member must be part of the ClickUp workspace to be assigned tasks.
Confirm to lock in the changes and say ‘Update Agent now’.
Go back to ‘Your AI Agents’ and click ‘Use Agent’ on the agent you just added ClickUp to. Test the integration by asking to generate a test task.
If issues arise, such as the task not being assigned correctly, verify that the ClickUp workspace and team members are correctly configured and go back to editing the AI Agent and tell it what it did wrong and what it needs to do instead.
